After all that excitement, the kids will want something to eat. An excellent place for lunch or dinner is the Lunch Branch restaurant on the third floor of the Greenwich shopping centre.

Lunch Branch has a varied menu for big and small as well as a large children’s playground.

Trip #2: Fun lessons

Newton Park and boat ride

Yeltsin Center is a real centre of events and life in the capital of the Urals and a great place for family holidays. Trip #3: The Urals Adventures

Kids’ Quest and Museum Complex

This is an interesting way to spend the day. A quest for the whole family with themes like 1001 Nights, where you become part of an Arabian tale, or Manhattan Project, perfect for fans of the spy genre. The Time Patrol quest is ideal if you like the idea of travelling through time.

Then head for Verkhnyaya Pyshma, home to the largest museum of military and automotive equipment. The collection of the UMMC Museum Complex has about 5,700 exhibits including some 400 samples of military equipment and more than 250 Soviet and foreign cars.

Kids will love the 5D projection of the tank. You and your children will feel like real tankmen. Take a picture in a rare red car and put on military helmets and raincoats. For lunch, we recommend the family restaurant My Company in the Kirovsky shopping centre. Or take a hearty lunch package with you from angelo by Vienna House Ekaterinburg.

All three trips are highly interesting and extremely informative. If you are planning to stay in Ekaterinburg just to catch a flight home, then try coming one day earlier to visit these cool places with the kids! It will be great if you manage to visit all the places where you can go with the children. See you soon in Ekaterinburg!
