The permanent exhibition on the history of the Skoda factory is also worth a visit. DEPO2015 represents a sustainability feature of the Plzeň – European Capital of Culture 2015 project. It is a “little Berlin” in Plzeň, where you can create and enjoy art, visit interactive exhibitions or crafts workshops or even run a business.




  • PILSEN FOR KIDS

    The Pilsen Zoological and Botanical Gardens have a few surprises in store – including the second largest bear house in Europe, for example. The star attractions among the 1,300 animals are the Indian rhinoceros and the Rothschild's giraffes. To get the most from your visit, follow one of the zoo's several educational routes.

  • PILSEN - WORTH SEEING

    The city's most recognizable landmark is the sixteenth century Cathedral of St. Bartholomew's. The 100 m high viewing platform in the tower offers wonderful views of the city and its surroundings. With its marlite 'Pilsen Madonna' statue at the main altar, this magnificent gothic building is an enduring monument to Czech national culture.

  • ACTIVE PILSEN

    Often referred to as the Pearl of the Baroque, the area around Pilsen is dotted with monasteries and castles from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. The landscape in which they sit is one of majestic forests and romantically sweeping valleys. Golfers will have nothing to complain about here. The area boasts four quality courses, among them the 18-hole Pilsen Golf Park.

The hotel is just 150 m from the main railway station, which is on the main east-west line from Prague to Nuremberg and Munich.

  • From Vaclav Havel Airport Prague:
    This is the nearest airport for those travelling long-distance. It's about an hour's drive away. Or you could use public transport and take the bus to Pilsen.

By car

  • From the west:
    Take the D5 motorway, exit 89. Follow the signs to the center. As soon as you see the football stadium on the left, the hotel is in front of you. Keep following the signs.

  • From the east:
    Take the D5 motorway, exit 67. Follow the signs to the center until you reach the Pilsner Urquell brewery. The hotel is at the end of the road on the left. Turn left at the crossroads and follow the signs.

40 parking spaces are available in the hotel's underground car park and additional 45 spaces on outside parking:
