WELCOME TO CITY WEST

The exciting area known as City West includes the localities of Charlottenburg, Schöneberg, Wilmersdorf and Tiergarten. Formerly known as Neuer Westen (“New West”), this part of Berlin today is one of the city’s trendiest and most luxurious shopping paradises.

The exact location

Vienna Townhouse Berlin is located in Berlin’s Charlottenburg district in the immediate vicinity of the Ku’damm (Kurfürstendamm), one the most famous avenues in Berlin. A home away from home as you discover the city? The main train station is just 4 km, the airport about 7 km away. A fan of the theatrical arts? Then you should visit the historic Renaissance Theater, only four minutes from the apartment house.

  • From Berlin Tegel (TXL):

    Take bus line X9 in the direction of “S+U Zoologischer Garten” and get off at “U Ernst-Reuter-Platz”. Change to bus 245 in the direction of “S+U Zoologischer Garten” and get off one stop later at “Steinplatz”. From here, Vienna Townhouse Berlin is just four minutes away on foot.

  • From Berlin Schönefeld (SXF):

    Take regional train RE7 in the direction of Dessau Hauptbahnhof and get off at the station “S + U Zoologischer Garten”. From here, it is just a 12-minute walk to Vienna Townhouse Berlin.

  • From the main station:

    Take the S7 train in the direction of Potsdam-Hauptbahnhof and get off at the station “S+U Zoologischer Garten”. From there, it’s just a 12-minute walk to Vienna Townhouse Berlin.

  • From Ostbahnhof station:

    Take the S9 train in the direction of Spandau and get off at the station “S+U Zoologischer Garten”. Then take bus line M45 in the direction of Spandau-Johannesstift and get off at “Steinplatz”. From here, Vienna Townhouse Berlin is just four minutes away on foot.

By car

  • Coming from the south and west:


    Coming from Munich/Leipzig, take the A9 to Berlin, continue on the A115 and the A100 city motorway and exit at “Kaiserdamm”. Then follow the B2 along Bismarckstraße in the direction of Ernst-Reuter-Platz. Take the first exit on the right via Hardenbergstraße, turn right onto Steinplatz and right again into Goethestraße. The apartment house will be on the right.


  • Coming from the north:

    Coming from Hamburg/Rostock, take the A11/A24 towards Berlin. Continue along the A100 city motorway and exit at “Kaiserdamm”. Then follow the B2 along Bismarckstraße in the direction of Ernst-Reuter-Platz. Take the first exit on the right via Hardenbergstraße, turn right onto Steinplatz and right again into Goethestraße. The apartment house will be on the right.


  • Coming from Berlin Tegel (TXL):

    Take the A111 towards Dresden/Magdeburg/Leipzig/Zentrum and change to the A100. Exist at “Spandauer Damm” and follow this road until you turn right into Otto-Suhr-Allee. Follow Otto-Suhr-Allee to Ernst-Reuter-Platz. Take the second exit on the right into Hardenbergstraße, turn right onto Steinplatz and right again into Goethestraße. The apartment house will be on the right.

  • Coming from Schönefeld (SXF):

    Head north on the A113 towards Berlin-Zentrum. Change to the A100 and take exit 16 “Wexstraße” towards the city centre (“Zentrum”). After 500 meters, turn right onto Bundesplatz and again slightly right into Bundesallee. Go straight ahead and follow the road until it turns into Joachimstaler Straße. After approx. 750 m, turn left into Hardenbergstraße, left again onto Steinplatz and right into Goethestraße. The apartment house will be on the right.


Note: Berlin’s Environmental Zone

All drivers entering the city centre (this also applies to foreign vehicles) must purchase an “environmental badge” to be affixed in a visible location on the inside of the windscreen. Want to know how to reach the apartments without crossing the environmental zone? Just ask the portier. The environmental badge can be ordered online.

Parking

There are eight parking spaces available in the underground car park of Vienna Townhouse Berlin. Parking reservations are not possible due to the low capacity. The fee for a space is EUR 18/day.
