MULTIMEDIA FOUNTAIN PARK

A complex of four fountains located on the Square of the 1st Armored Division of the Polish Army. In the past, a kidney-shaped water reservoir was located here. The area where the fountains are located is sometimes wrongly named Podzamcze (the Bailey) – in fact, to the foot of the Royal Castle it is over 500 m from here. On Friday and Saturday evenings in the summer there are 30-minute multimedia 'water-light-sound' shows using LED spotlights and lasers.

SMART KIDS PLANET

An innovative, interactive Wise Play Center for children aged 0-10. The place was created based on the 'edutainment' trend, i.e. education through entertainment. On the area of 2,400 sq m of PGE National Stadium were created 6 thematic zones divided into age categories and 5 workshop rooms. Exhibits, multimedia and numerous attractions provide training in perception, small and large motor skills, develop strategic skills, imagination, creativity and digital skills.

TRAMPOLINE PARK IN MOKOTOW

Hangar 646 is a space filled with trampolines for those who have too much energy. More than 80 trampolines in one place, including a huge arena, an air cushion for safe acrobatics, slam dunk zone, a dodgeball zone, and for more advanced ones a parkour obstacle zone and an acrobatic floor. Varsovians love the tramppoline park, and no wonder – it is a great idea for some quality time with the whole family or an energetic attraction when the weather just wants to play tricks with us.

FERRY ON THE VISTULA

An interesting proposition on a hot day is a trip by ferry on the Vistula river. This crossing is a great way to add variety to a Sunday walk or an idea for a bike trip. Ferries sail every day throughout the summer. Stops are located at the Vistula Boulevards, just follow the visual identification known from classic bus stops. The routes are nice, the attraction is great and the best part – it's free. The ferry will carry twelve passengers and twelve bikes.

Neon Museum

The Old Town

The most famous part of Warsaw is the Old Town. The Royal Castle, The Castle Square, King Sigismund's Column, historic churches and 17th and 18th century colorful tenements are 'must see' attractions during walks around the Old Town. You can't forget about the Mermaid Statue and the Warsaw Barbican – red brick defensive wall. From April to October while passing St. John's Cathedral at noon, step inside for a daily organ concert by one of the Polish master organists and visit the cathedral undergrounds afterwards. In December enjoy mulled wine at the Christmas market. The Old Town impresses every time of the year.

Warsaw Business

Anyone coming to Warsaw for work will probably visit Służewiec at some point. Apart from the downtown skyscrapers, it's the biggest cluster of office buildings in the city – more than 80 were built in this area since the 90s. Along with its flagship street, Domaniewska, it has become a symbol of corporate work in Warsaw and has even gained a nickname Mordor, where ambitious, goal-oriented employees are likened to Tolkien's orcs. And even though some new districts like Wola are trending now, Służewiec is not likely to lose its status of prime business hub any time soon.

PGE National Stadium

Sting concert or Euro qualifying matches? No matter the occasion, if the event is significant it will surely take place on the PGE National Stadium. Opened for the public before Euro 2012, the arena has quickly become one of the capital's main attractions for both Varsovians and visitors. It is open for guided tours, offers a professional kart track from spring to autumn and in winter transforms into a family fun wonderland – with ice rinks, bumper cars, curling, sports lab and even an ice disco. Beautifully located on the Vistula, the stadium is currently one of the most recognizable Warsaw buildings. And most accessible, too – thanks to the underground station right next to it.

Copernicus Science Centre

A real paradise for science lovers, not only children! You can discover the secrets of nature, carry out experiments yourself and have a great time. Here everyone gets to feel like a researcher and explorer, conducting experiments on their own, checking for themselves how the senses allow to perceive the world. You will test your body's abilities, sensitivity to light, color perception, susceptibility to illusions. Hundreds of exhibits will help you understand the phenomena associated with waves or electricity. You definitely have to visit the Heavens of Copernicus Planetarium and see an amazing show. After sightseeing, stretch out comfortably on the grass in the Explorers’ Park. The whole day filled with attractions at the highest level – guaranteed.

The Royal Łazienki Park and Museum

It's hard to imagine to be in Warsaw and not to visit the Royal Łazienki. The iconic Chopin's Monument, Palace on the Isle and the beautiful gardens make it so worthwhile. Every Sunday from May to September you can listen to Chopin's music – concerts take place at 12.00 am and 4.00 pm at the monument of the composer. And every Friday between 10.00 am and 12.00 am there is free entry to all the Museum's buildings – have a tour through the summer residence of  king Stanisław II Augustus and see for yourself why Łazienki are called 'the happiest place in Warsaw'.

Służewiec Racetrack

Whether you are a frequent racetrack visitor, a horse lover or just like to wear fancy hats to elegant events – Służewiec Racetrack is the place for you. Surrounded by a layer of greenery, it gives its guests the illusion of being far away from the city – going there is like entering another world. Horse racing in Warsaw is almost 180 years old and Służewiec track has been a part of this history since 1939. In the races of the last weekend before the outbreak of the war more than 1 000 horses competed – that's how popular racing was! At present races take place almost every weekend from April to November. The flag is up, ladies and gentlemen!

Warszawianka Aquapark

Swimming is good for you – every doctor will tell you that. But Warszawianka Aquapark is about so much more than just swimming! Full-size Olympic pool and smaller one for recreation, artificial river, huge water slide, waterfalls, cascades, jacuzzi – that's enough to make you dizzy. Shopping in Warsaw

Having several world-class level malls, Warsaw is becoming a shopping Mecca – for the prices are still below the world average. Apart from the nearest Galeria Mokotów, recommendable are Złote Tarasy, Arkadia, Klif, Plac Unii and department stores along Marszałkowska street. For more upscale shopping experience visit Vitkac, shops located at Mokotowska and Nowy Świat streets or Trzech Krzyży Square. And if you're looking for something utterly unique, order a pair of hand-sewn shoes from the studio of Jan Kielman or buy a pair of Bodyych glasses with handcrafted frames.

Teatr Wielki – The National Opera

Teatr Wielki has been providing unforgettable artistic impressions since the early 19th century. Nowadays, in cooperation with global opera stages, it makes high art accessible again and translates universal human tragedies to modern language. This year the Wielki's director, Waldemar Dąbrowski was awarded an 'opera Oscar' for his lifetime achievements. 10 years ago, the Ballet of the Teatr Wielki was raised to the rank of the Polish National Ballet – under the direction of the renowned choreographer Krzysztof Pastor it has gained the international recognition and is considered one of the best ballet companies in the world.

II World War Memorials

In Warsaw you can find a lot of monuments and II World War reminders. But you definitely should visit The Warsaw Rising Museum which is a tribute of Warsaw's residents to those who fought and died for independent Poland and its free capital. The second worth to see museum is the Museum of the History of Polish Jews POLIN – a modern cultural institution and museum which presents a 1000-year history of Polish Jews.

Warsaw Public Bike – Veturilo

If your intended destination is too far away to walk and you're not a fan of public transport, hop on the bike and explore the city on two wheels! Warsaw is covered with cycle paths and more come every year, so you should have a smooth ride. Veturilo is a network of Warsaw Public Bike, with more than 380 stations all over the capital. The use is very simple – just register in the system and put some money into your account. Then choose a bike you want to rent, type in its number in the app and… you're done. You can return it afterwards at any station you want. Veturilo is really cheap and first 20 mins. is always for free!

Warsaw Art

Warsaw has many faces and one of them is art. The National Museum presents art from ancient times to present. Museum of Modern Art, the Museum on the Vistula, as well as Zachęta – National Gallery of Art, popularize contemporary art. One of the best places to see contemporary, documentary and artistic photography is Leica 6×7 Gallery. Among small and large galleries everyone will find something in their taste.
