Vienna House launches new hotel concept line: Vienna House R.evo
Vienna, 01.03.2018 – Individual like a home. Exciting like a hotel. Flexible like a guesthouse. Laid back like a cool pad in the heart of the city.
Individual like a home. Exciting like a hotel. Flexible like a guesthouse. Laid back like a cool pad in the heart of the city. Vienna House R.evo, the new concept by the Vienna House hotel group, brings together guest rooms, studios, and friends and family rooms with zeitgeisty design, laid-back common areas and the sorts of digital and analogue amenities guests want today and tomorrow. The tribrid concept offers modern technical infrastructure and urbane lifestyle in a convenient central location, making it the perfect accommodation for the wishes and needs of today’s modern society. One of the first projects is getting off the ground in Munich, to be followed by other major cities internationally.
Vienna House R.evo goes beyond the classic hotel categories. The new concept lies somewhere between hotel evolution and revolution, positioning itself by how people these days want to live and work. “Vienna House R.evo is the way people are today: mobile, uncomplicated, curious and open-minded,” says Rupert Simoner, CEO of Vienna House. “Technologisation has changed us, and it is time that we give these new ways of life the space they deserve.”
At Vienna House R.evo, guests can check in for one night, several months or even for just half a working day. They can choose between hotel rooms, fully equipped studio apartments, or friends and family rooms in which everyone spends the night together yet still has enough privacy. Or they can just rent a place to work. The design is laid-back and functional, always comfortable, with an easy-going vibe.
The new status quo
It’s all there: the services that make a hotel so convenient, the lobby, the reception, the laundry service, the housekeeping, the restaurants. Just don’t go looking for conventional room and food concepts. And Vienna House R.evo goes the extra mile. The on-site team coordinates deliveries and help guests stock their fridge, cooperates with local suppliers and shops, and offers e-bikes, e-car sharing and vehicle charging stations. The workspaces are also in keeping with the times, technologically first-class, adaptable, and available for both staying guests as well as outside visitors. Working, high speed streaming, chatting, gaming at the same time – everything is possible. Guests can communicate digitally or analogue: They can simply talk to each other or use chat and app to book the dryer in the laundry room, organise their fitness time at the gym, or reserve their favourite place in the restaurant.
For foodies, Vienna House R.evo has everything except mainstream. Like pop-up solutions that can be changed depending on the prevailing trend or desired location. Options include dumpling pops, vegetarian or meaty-grilled, or Asian street food to share, sample and always discover something new. Breakfast is served bakery-style or in a cosy kitchen-cum-living-room setting. The bar is the lobby and is where people meet, order drinks, or just take what they want from the integrated shop. Perhaps for some laid-back quiet time in the hammock in the urban garden. The common areas are important for the success, the mood and the life at Vienna House R.evo. This is where the local community mingles with the guests from all over the world.
From Munich to Bangkok
Vienna House R.evos will be centrally located, with a priority focus on mid-size to larger cities. Leading the way is Munich. “Here we are currently developing a project with over 600 room units,” says Simoner, adding: “Construction is scheduled to begin this year. Demand is high, and we are already looking at other openings in Budapest, Hamburg and Vienna as well as in Glasgow and Bangkok.” The aim is to conclude up to three projects a year with the Vienna House R.evo brand.
